BrowseStar Nursery

Star Nursery

Plays in your browser, on computers and phones.

Drop space pebbles into a round star nursery, merge two of a kind into moons and planets, and grow a brand-new star.

Star Nursery is a calm space puzzle. A sleepy crescent moon rides round the edge of a round nursery in space, holding the next space pebble. Drop it, and it falls toward the glowing core in the middle, where a little world is growing. When two of the same kind touch, they squash together into the next bigger one: Stardust, Pebble, Asteroid, Moon, Mars, Earth, Saturn and Jupiter. Two Jupiters make a brand-new star that shines and flies away.

The first time you make each one, a name card tells you one true thing about it, like why Mars is red or how many Earths could fit inside Jupiter. The planets come in their real size order, so you learn which is bigger as you play.

Each game has 70 drops. Aim so two of a kind meet, set off chains of merges, and keep the pile inside the ring: if something sticks out past it for too long, the nursery is full. Everyone gets the same drops each day.

Play with the arrow keys and Space, with a mouse (point and click), or with a finger: touch where you want to drop and let go.
