Pizza Parts

Plays in your browser, on computers and phones.

Cut a pizza into fair parts, and give every hungry friend the slice they asked for.

Pizza Parts is a sunny fractions game for young children. Animal friends sit down at a checked table, each holding a ticket: a half, a third, a quarter. Cut the pizza so everyone can have the part they asked for, then hand out the slices. Each slice hops onto the friend's plate, which shows the share filling up, so you can see that two quarters make a half.

On a phone or tablet, tap the pizza where a cut should go, tap Serve, then tap the slices. With a mouse, click in the same way. On a computer keyboard, Left and Right choose where to cut, Space cuts, and Enter serves; then Left and Right choose a slice and Space gives it.

Four tables a run: halves and quarters, mixed quarters, thirds, then sixths and eighths. If the parts are not fair, or a slice is too big, the game says why, and you can fix it. Three tomatoes are your tries, and everyone gets the same pizzas each day. Calm kitchen has no tries to lose and no closing time, and it shows each part's fraction as you cut.
