Rhyme Pond

Rhyme Pond is a calm, sunny rhyming game for kids. Lily pads float on a pond, and on each pad a little green frog sits beside a picture and its word: a cat, a hat, the sun, a bun, a star, a car. Tap two words that rhyme and both frogs leap into the air, meet over the water and splash in. A water lily opens where each pad was, and the ending the two words share lights up in colour, so c-at and h-at both glow.

Tap two words that don't rhyme and the frogs shake their heads, and a lily flower is lost. Three lily flowers are your tries, and a pond with no mistakes gives one back. Each pond is bigger than the last, from 4 pads to 11, and from pond 3 there is an odd one out that rhymes with nothing on the pond. Clear all eight ponds before the sun sets for a pond party. If you stop for a while, a frog that has a rhyme wiggles to help.

Calm pond mode has no lost lilies, no sunset and no score, and colours every word's ending from the start, for the youngest readers. Everyone gets the same ponds each day.
