Lay out the arrow cards, press Go, and a little mouse follows your plan to the cheese.
Cheese Code is a first coding game for young children. A little mouse sits on a checked mat among giant toys, and there is cheese on another square. Lay out a row of arrow cards, press Go, and the mouse does exactly what your plan says, one card at a time, even when the plan is wrong. Then find the card that went wrong and fix it.
On a phone or tablet, tap arrow cards to lay them in the row, tap a laid card to change it or take it away, then tap Go. A mouse works the same way. On a computer keyboard, the arrow keys lay cards, Enter runs the plan, Backspace takes one back, and Q and E pick a laid card to change.
Four rooms a run: first steps with arrows that preview your plan, going round the things on the mat, fixing a plan that is already laid, and repeat cards that make a short row go a long way. Three pieces of cheese are your tries, and everyone gets the same boards each day. Calm kitchen has no tries to lose and no bedtime, and always shows the preview.
Plays by touch on phones, and with a keyboard or mouse on computers.
